Established within La Ciotat Shipyards, bringing together the leading shipyards in the Mediterranean, YACHTELEC specializes in electricity (high/low current), electronics and electromechanics for yachting. Since 2007, we have been involved in repairs, complete refits and new constructions. Distributor and installer for the biggest brands, we operate mainly in all the ports and shipyards of the northern Mediterranean but also all over the world.

We are recruiting an experienced marine electronics engineer:

You contribute to the installation and repair/refit of electronic equipment on board ships. You are under the responsibility of your electronic team leader.

Your main tasks:

Installation and intervention on on-board electronic and computer equipment: VHF Radio, MFHF, GPS & Radar
Inspection, control, measurement and adjustment of equipment at sea or on land
The electrical wiring of the installations
Autonomous management of several projects and respect of announced deadlines
Coaching of junior employees

Required profile :

Electronic training Bac + 2
Experience of at least 5 years in the electronics / yachting industry
Knowledge of the various major marine electronics brands is an advantage
Expert in radiocommunication and marine navigation
Rigorous, punctual, organized with a team spirit
Computer skills
Good level of oral and written English desired

The proposed contract:

CDD contract for a CDI, 35h/week. Remuneration according to profile, restaurant tickets. Date of taking office: March 01, 2023
